Fact # 1: Order as much as you want. Because chances are, your rich Chinese Tycoon groupmate is going to pick up the bill. Like he did a couple of times before.
Fact #2: Try not to blurt out "WHO THE HELL IS RICHARD?! WE DON'T HAVE A RICHARD IN THE GROUP!" Because chances are, Richard is the dude sitting in front of you whose name you can't recall.
That's all I have.
Anyway, we attended our Europe Tour Group Reunion over the weekend, and it was actually much more enjoyable than expected. We didn't really got a chance to bond during our 2-week tour of Europe because we mainly kept to our own groups. Still, shared experiences and all that.
Also, it's always a good idea to travel to any foreign country in the company of fellow Filipinos. For one thing, nobody will make a big deal if you stuff your pockets with hard boiled eggs and croissants from the breakfast table to serve as your lunch later. And another thing, they will be nothing but encouraging if you suddenly feel the need to urinate in a mineral water bottle, (or a plastic bag, depending on your gender), while on board a bus which can only make bathroom stops every 2 hours.
So yeah, we've already made plans to meet up again sometime soon. And we are actually looking forward to it. And it has to be said that even though nobody's saying anything yet, quite a few of us are hoping for the whole group to agree to go back to Europe together. Which is something to really look forward to.
